Return to Out and About with Kathleen

Locations where my work may be seen:

Brush Strokes Gallery - December -  We have our Holiday tables set up and I am showing some original handpainted magnets along with some of my miniature paintings.  My December wall area is a group of paintings rancing from 10 to 12" square and will include this 11x14 pastel painted in New York this past summer.

This is "A Peek at the Catskills"

In Nov. and early Dec. I am showing several smaller mixed media pieces at the Arts Alliance at Jarett Thor Gallery in Colonial Beach.

I have been invited by the Fredericksburg Country Club to show my work in their dinning room through the end of the year.  I chose a variety of pastel, oil and acrylic paintings.  Many are examples of plein air work.  There are 29 pieces in this show.

My Goolricks pastel painting is there that I made at last year's Art Attack Downtown.

And a plein air oil painting "Leaving Belmont with roses on the Fence"

Middle Street Gallery in Washington, Va will have two of my pastel paintings on display.

Middle Street Gallery is Celebrating its 35th year as a Fine art Gallery.  I am pleased to announce that the work of Phyllis Magrab and Myself will be featured for this event.  The Opening Reception is Dec. 15, 2-5pm.  Here is a sample of several of the abstracted landscapes that I will be showing.

My work may also be seen in Orange, Va, at the Center for the Arts in Orange..

Montpelier Garden is a plein air piece.

FCCA in Fredericksburg is having a show  "Focus on Color"  One of my paintings has been chosen for this.   Red Woods.
